How long until spring arrives???

With cold weather and snow blanketing so many of us, I thought I would offer you a hint of spring with the bright and cheerful colors of the Within My Heart Sewing Case. It will be available in just a couple of weeks.
On the inside of this envelope-style case is a large gathered pocket for holding your needlework tools and Kelmscott Designs' daisy-shaped thread rings. A needlebook and scissors weight complete the project. I was very pleased to find the sweet floral lining fabric already in my stash. It was perfect! Did you notice the cute flowerpot scissors by Kelmscott Designs?

Now, how long until spring arrives? I bet my friend Carol in Baltimore is counting the days. Poor thing--she couldn't even get out her front door this morning with the record snowfalls in her area. At least she has plenty of stitching to keep her occupied. Right, Carol? Think spring!!!

Hi Ellen - I wanted to be sure and comment on your new designs while I had my laptop out. You know I have that commenting problem with certain blogs I follow. This design is very pretty but I am SO coveting Mrs Waddelow's huswif - I was in the LQS yesterday telling the owner about your new design and how excited I was that I actually get to peruse the quilting fabric for a "real purpose" in the near future. Can't wait and I wish you good luck at market and in the coming year. Melody

Dear, Dear Ellen - You have outdone yourself - again! All three of your new designs are outstanding, and I am sure will be well received at Market. I just love them all, and look forward to getting the charts and picking out fabrics for the huswife.(Can you share info about the fabrics you used for the huswife?)
Congratulations on such wonderful designs.
