Just a hint of things to come...Mrs. Waddelow's Huswif (folded). There is a tiny needlebook to the right.
I'll leave you in suspense for a few days about the inside, but I'll at least tell you there are 5 different printed cotton fabrics...so much fun!!! I suggest that you first chose your cotton fabrics, and then chose your embroidery thread to go with your fabrics. (You'll only need one color of embroidery thread.)
This will be a quick stitch because all of the embroidery is on the outside--there is none on the inside.
A piece of good news for many of you--The model was assembled completely by hand--no need for a sewing machine. If however, you like machine sewing, you can assemble your huswif using a combination of machine and hand-sewing.
More and larger photos will be posted shortly.

Mrs. Waddlelow's Huswif quite beautiful! I have never made a "huswife" before, but this one has me thinking there is a first time for everything! I love the design and cannot wait to see the inside! Thanks so much for sharing!
This looks very pretty and I can't wait to see more of it! It definitely looks like something I would like to make. Especially since it can be assembled by hand =)
