It has been a long time coming, but here at last is my framed I Sigh Not for Beauty. This beautiful sampler was designed by Fran of C Street Samplers. I love it!
Now to figure out where to hang it...my walls are becoming very full. (I never thought that I would say that.) There are already at least 27 samplers in my family room so I'm going to have to play around with things. I think the last time I hung a sampler it took well over an hour because I had to move several around to get the new one to fit.
What a state we are in today! Our wood kitchen floor is being sanded, stained, and sealed. I'm not sure what I've been dreading most--the noise and disruption or getting things back in order afterwards.
The workers have been hard at work for nearly three hours already, and I still hear the
loud machines at work. It's rather hard to concentrate think. It will be 4 days until we can go back in the kitchen, so things may get interesting around here. At least we were able to bring our coffee pot and two mugs upstairs.
