A somewhat chilly and drizzly day found us at Monet's Gardens in Giverny. Even in mid-October and with the drizzle, the gardens were spectacular. They were larger and more beautiful than I had expected. I can only imagine what they must look like in the spring.
I was fascinated with these unusual chickens that were on the grounds.
Did you know that you can attend a painting workshop in Giverny? We have friends from church who have done so several times and have always loved the experience.

Your post brought back wonderful memories of my trip to the Gardens. The rain was pouring down, yet the Gardens were still beautiful.
How gorgeous is that! I always think of Linnea (a children's book and video when I think of Monet's Gardens. Comes from having a little girl once upon a time.
What a wonderful experience- seeing Monet's gardens. I'm a garden lover so this was a very special treat
What beautiful pictures! The flowers look especially nice, as compared to the snow we are getting today!
