I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed being with members of the Delaware Valley Historic Sampler Guild for two classes. This is such a great group of stitchers! You can tell how much they enjoy being together. In addition, they are terrific (and prolific) stitchers. I hope they enjoyed our time together as much as I did!
It was a beautiful spring day, and this is what greeted the stitchers as they arrived.
Saturday's class was A Needleworker's Sampler Huswif. Most of those in class will be making the project into a huswif, but one or two of them will frame it instead.
Here are some photos from Saturday's class. Look at how hard they are at work.
In class I missed seeing what Francine had on her table--the scissors weight from Bunnies in the Garden.
I forgot to take any photos in this class, but here are a few that Lynn kindly sent me. Thanks, Lynn.
I wish you could have seen the great progress they made. I bet I'll be showing you some completed cases soon.
There was also lots of "show and tell", but I'll save those photos for another day.

The huswif pattern is just gorgeous!
I'm sure the guild had a wonderful time. My guild still talks about how great it was when you came to teach us these same two classes. It makes me want to get back to finish my flag needlecases from them. Life for me just took a bit of a different path for a while but now I have time to get back and finish it. Thanks for the inspiration.
Sounds like such a fun time! Love the patterns you taught.

Sounds like a fun time! Have you ever been to the Kindred Spirits Sampler Guild in Michigan, Ellen? Maybe we need to arrange something!
