Last week I picked up Rachel Hyde from Carol who does my framing. I'm not sure where Rachel's going as my walls are pretty full, but there's always room for one more sampler more samplers. Right? I had hoped to also pick up John Foster, but the frame molding that Carol got was damaged. She has had to order more. Fiddle-dee-dee!
I'm glad so many of you enjoyed the quilt barn and pig photos in my last blog post. I now want to get a book about the barns. I think several area available, so if you have a recommendation, please let me know.
Things are busy around here getting ready for my next class, but I'm still finding a few hours in the early morning to stitch. It keeps me sane--how about you?

Oh Ellen! Rachel is absolutely gorgeous!! So beautiful. I seem to be obsessed with knitting right now, though my recent stitching stash acquisitions may find me back to plying my needle. I didn't have a chance to comment on the quilt barns, but they were lovely. Vera
Hi Ellen. The book that I did read was called Barn Quilts by Suzy Parron. It was very good for the pictures, it reads a little like a research paper though. :)
Wow, was für eine wunderschöne Stickerei.
Ganz ganz wunderschön.
Liebe Grüße Grit
Hi Ellen! Little Miss Rachel is a beauty, I just love her trees!
Don't know about you, but I could use some sanity right now. I must need more time to stitch....
I love how Rachel came out!! I need to get mine framed. I have such a backlog of samplers that need framing. Sigh.
The frame is perfect for Rachel.
Another beautiful sampler! You can't have too many!
Rachel Hyde is just beautiful. I love the frame. I'm so anxious to see how John Foster is framed. I finished him this week. I have no idea how I want to frame him. The frame for Rachel looks antique and I love that.
Beautiful! You must be so pleased!
Oh Ellen Miss Rachel is looking beautiful.

I love grapes and top trees so much!!

Loved the barn quilt snaps...what a great idea!
Rachel is GORGEOUS, Ellen...and one can never have too many samplers adorning their walls :o)
