Christmas 2014

We've had nearly a week of celebrating starting on Saturday, December 20th with a family "Christmas" dinner with our children and their families.

Tom's father started a tradition with our children of going out to buy donuts to eat Christmas morning. We're continuing that tradition with our grandchildren. This was Haiden's third time and Garrett's first of choosing the donuts.

Here are the boys waiting to open gifts. (Notice how Haiden has lost another tooth.)

Now that Haiden can read, he asked Tom if he could help hand out gifts and wear the Santa hat that Tom usually does.

Later that day we went to Krohn Conservatory to see the special Christmas displays.

Our daughter and son-in-law headed back to Columbus late afternoon, but we got to keep Haiden an extra day. Among other things, he got to decorate reindeer cookies like his cousin Garrett had done the previous week.

The next day Tom and I took Haiden and Garrett to the Museum Center to see the trains and the children's museum. We had a full day--arriving there around 10am and staying until nearly 4pm.

We ended our time there with a special treat at Graeter's.

On Christmas Day we went to our son's home to see what Santa had brought everyone.

Garrett loves to perform so this microphone was quite a hit!

Even the big "children" had their stockings filled!

Garrett thought that he and I should make some funny faces.

And yes, we're still celebrating! Yesterday Tom and I had our 44th wedding anniversary! Where do the years go?

We hope you are having a joyous Christmastide and that 2015 will be a very good year for you (with lots of stitching time)!
