Accept this posey from me to you!!

Last week seemed very long here in Cincinnati. I have been suffering pain in my lower back. for the last 9 days. I hurt the most when sitting which obviously makes time on the computer very uncomfortable. I am on pain meds and have had x-rays made. I hope to talk to the doctor on Monday to find out what course of action to next take. Meanwhile I'm limiting my time on the computer. I hope you understand.

We are also still working on my eyes. I next go to the eye doctor in two weeks, and we'll see what still needs to be done. Meanwhile I'm "managing" with 4 pairs of eye glasses: one for the computer and reading, one for reading signs in places like museums, one for stitching, and sun glasses. Yikes!! I'm sure looking forward to the day when I can get my new prescription glasses.

I have a new puzzle for you which expresses my sentiments. Please accept the puzzle, instead of a posey (For my non-English speaking readers, a posey is a small bouquet of flowers) in appreciation for your notes over the past few weeks.

Ellen - are you trickin' me? There aren't enough pieces - yikes! Hope all goes well; I am familiar with low back pain for an extended period of time and it is totally NOT fun. I'm keeping you in my thoughts. Be well.

Ellen,

Sending you good wishes for some relief from your back pain. You really have been hit hard this summer between your eye surgeries and now your back. Sending healing thoughts your way.

Hope your back pain eases soon Ellen, I know what it is like as I suffer too, although at the moment mine is caused by too much gardening. I didn't have enough puzzle pieces either, maybe they didn't all load up. I deleted the last post as for some reason it was in Alastair's name and not mine.

I enjoyed doing what I could of the puzzle, but I think some of the pieces were "lost" behind the sides---managed to pull some out that had a bit showing, but guess others were completely hidden.
Hope your back improves very quickly and you soon get some relief.

Hi Ellen,
I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well. A backache can make you feel icky all over so I hope you feel better soon. Will load the puzzle when I'm at home on my computer. At the moment I'm on my daughter's computer - babysitting Gretchen! Take care!

Oh Ellen - I am so sorry to hear about your issues with back pain. I hope your dr finds a resolution soon for you. I live with 4 pair of glasses too, same that you described and I still am not going to consider the eye surgery - just too scared so my 4 pair of glasses are suiting me just fine ! Take care - Melody

Thanks, everyone!

The pain is getting worse and worse...I'll have an MRI tomorrow. Hopefully we'll then be able to resolve the problem.

Sending you many wishes Ellen, hoping you will feel better very soon. I am sure it must have been very frustrating for you having to go through all this. Take care of yourself.

P.S. Don't forget to keep us up-to-date with photographs of that little grandson of yours! (very cute)
