Counting the days....

I'm counting the days until I leave for England.  No, I'm not going over for "the" wedding, but rather to teach three classes at Fobbles in the Lake District.  I can't imagine a lovelier time to be in England than in May!

Earlier today I shipped  Beverly at Fobbles a box that weighed nearly 26 pounds.  The box had the charts and finishing supplies for the classes.  I'll take the linen and silk threads with me in my large carry-on suitcase.

The classes for the Fruit of the Vine Sampler/Huswif and A Needleworker's Sampler/Huswif have been full for months.  I don't know if Fobbles is keeping a waiting list or not.  I believe there are still a few openings in the third class, Friends in Stitches.  You can see photos and read details here as well as get Beverly's contact information.

Last year, when I was having my back problems, I had to postpone my Long May She Wave class  which was scheduled here in Cincinnati--how convenient, right?  The organizers have rescheduled it for Saturday, June 18th.  Would you believe there are 21 different stitches on this little piece?    If you are interested in more information about this sweet little patriotic needlecase, check out my website here.   You can also email Adele at agrout@johnsoninv.com.  Class registration started today.  You have to be in class to get the kit--sorry.
