Please Keep Your Fingers Crossed.....

I have just finished making a few minor changes to the chart for my newest sampler and made the horrifying discovery that the two large birds near the bottom of the sampler are not charted in the same place relative to the large vase in the center.  On one side there are 10 squares separating the bird and the vase and on the other side there are 11.   Egads!  I wish I had made that discovery before stitching them!

Please keep your fingers crossed that I stitched them both in the same position.  Otherwise, guess who will be visiting me this afternoon?

Here is a sneak preview of the upper right corner of the sampler before I added a satin stitch sawtooth border between the outer floral border and the rest of the sampler.  I just love the way satin stitches catch the light.

I'm not going to say the word you're referring to as my fingers are crossed that all is well!

What you have shown so far is just beautiful, Ellen. I like to go by the Amish tradition and leave a mistake in my needlework. Consequently, when I find a mistake in something I've stitched, especially if it is over one, I let the mistake stay. Let the frog stay in his pond -- I don't think anyone will notice but you.

Again, it is beautiful -- just love the border!

Oh this looks like a definite stitch for me! I love satin stitch and those flowers are calling my name.

Hope all turns out well and I will watch for this release anxiously!
