I first introduced you to Rosella in my June 18, 2014 blog post when I showed you her adaptation of my Petit Carnet d'Ouvrages, Livre I. Rosella recently completed another of my book designs, this time the Alphabet Samplings Book.
As with her previous book, Rosella made some changes by adding extra designs and also by changing the way her book was assembled. Rosella decided to use a tapestry-like fabric for her book cover. She also stitched a book label for her cover. On the first page, she added a design to what was in my book model--an image of a woman embroidering. She also stitched my name.

On the inside, instead of sewing the pages together, she added metal rings so she can remove a page whenever she wants. She can also add more pages. Rosella, you certainly are creative! I love what you've done.
Rosella stitched her book on 28-count linen using DMC threads:
Page 1--899
Page 2-3--814
Page 4--69
Page 5--996
Page 6--783 and 995
Page 7--926 and 928
Page 8--814 and 899
Rosella stitched the label for her book cover on a 20-count perforated sewing card from Tokens and Trifles. The ribbon she used on the cover is one that once wrapped a panettone which is a typical Christmas cake from Milan where she lives.
Rosella, thank you for sharing your book with us. I'm looking forward to seeing what you stitch next.
