Another year!! Thank you to all who sent birthday greetings yesterday. My family showered me with lovely flowers.

Here is the view of what I see as I stitch on my love seat. You may remember Freida, the frog, from an earlier blog post.
I've started work on Needleprint's Mary Wigham sampler as part of the SAL. I'm not very far along because I got a late start, plus I'm working on two new WMN designs.

I've just added several teaching engagements to my schedule. My teaching schedule is shown on the sidebar and at my website. In late June 2010, I will be teaching for the Stitch Store in Buford, Georgia. Terrie, the shop owner, now has the Dogwood Patch in Hiawassee, Georgia, but will be moving and changing her shop name around the first of the year. In October 2010, I'll be in England teaching for The Sampler Guild. Then in May 2011, I'll be back in England to teach for Fobbles in the Cumbria area. Details will be announced soon about these events.

Nice Mary Wigham start! I do like the colors! So Ellen, are you going to teach at Where Victoria's Angels Stitch in NJ? I was told that you were -- I hope it's true! I'll be there if you are. :D

Happy birthday Ellen! Your MW start is looking lovely so far.

Ooh, if you're coming to Fobbles, I might have to look into coming along. It would be great to have a class with you.

Very Many Happy Returns, Ellen, and may the next half of your life be just as beautiful and fulfilling as the half just passed!
May we have a picture of your Mary Wigham WIP for the Mary Wigham International Gallery, please....??
Love, Jacqueline

A very belated happy birthday! I'm a "Junebug," too. Are you as split personality as I am!!? LOL
It's a joy to stitch the new Mary Wigham and yours looks great. Have you seen Vikki's silk threads conversion?

Thanks everyone for the birthday greetings! Jacqueline, I had to laugh at your comment about the next half of my life--that means I need to live to be 120!!

Also thanks to those who made comments about my Mary Wigham sampler.

Margaret. Thanks for your interest in classes. As requested, I have sent the teaching portfolio to the shop and am waiting to hear back. I’ll keep you posted. It would be great to meet you in person after all these years.

Karen. We are just in the beginning planning stages for Fobbles since it is nearly two years out. Once Bev chooses her classes and has more details set in place, I’ll put the info on the teaching page of my website. The Lake District in May should be quite lovely.

Pauline. For the first time ever with a reproduction I am using overdyed threads. I am trying to keep the colors as close to possible to the ones Jacqueline listed on the chart. As I stitch, I’m finding that I have to make some changes to my original choices. I am still struggling to find a white thread that shows up on my linen. The threads I am using are Sampler Threads from the Gentle Art, Weeks Dye Workes, Crescent Colours, Olde Willow, and DMC.

Jacqueline. I’ll try to get a photo off to you tomorrow. Since I posted the photo yesterday, I have stitched two more motifs from page 1. Tonight I hope to get in the large green motif that is on pages 1 and 2.

Deborah. Nice to meet a fellow Gemini…don’t know about the split personality, but I do like to do multiple things at the same time. It drives my poor husband crazy.

Patti. You certainly have my curiosity up about being on your wish (??) list.
