A photo says a thousand words...

On Thursday, armed with pillows and a bottle of Advil, Tom and I drove to Fort Wayne to meet Garrett for the first time. (Yes, we finally made it there!)

Here is Tom's reaction on holding Garrett for the first time.
And here is Garrett's reaction. I wonder what he is thinking? At three weeks, Garrett seems to be mostly sleeping or eating. Doesn't he look quite content in his grandmother's arms? The weather was beautiful, so Tom and I took Garrett out for a stroller ride. Garrett slept most of the way, but the three of us enjoyed the fresh air, and I got in my walk. (Walking is so much more fun when you're pushing stroller with someone special.)
And last but not least, here is Garrett with his happy parents.

Great to see you with your new grandson Ellen, you lucky & proud grandparents!:) Garrett (love the name) thinks his grandfather is very big and therefore wont argue with him LOL.
Take care now.
